About Our Pastor

In 1956, Overseer Elois Bellamy joined the Deliverance Evangelistic Ministries under the leadership of the late Apostle Arturo Skinner. After eleven years of dedicated service, she felt called by the Lord to pursue full-time ministry. Following her ordination by Apostle Skinner, she established the Deliverance Prayer Revival Tabernacle in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1967.

The church was initially situated on Memorial Parkway, occupying the former location of Tabernacle Baptist Church, led by Reverend Gardner. After a period of fellowship at this location, the building unfortunately caught fire, causing a relocation for the congregation. They temporarily moved to Hiram Street before settling at 61 French Street in New Brunswick. It was during their time on French Street that they discovered the availability of a property at 306 Somerset Street, which was previously a boxing gym. In May 2011, Overseer Bellamy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Deliverance Prayer Temple Bible University in Loris, South Carolina.

Five years later, in May 2016, she received an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from the same institution. Additionally, Overseer Bellamy attended the Deliverance Bible Institute in Newark, New Jersey.

As the founder and Senior Pastor of Deliverance Prayer Revival Tabernacle, a vibrant and dynamic church, she is not only a significant figure within the kingdom but also a pillar of the community, dedicating over 35 years to outreach and development through tent revivals and crusades throughout the city.

Overseer Bellamy is recognized  worldwide for her charismatic healing and deliverance ministry. She has held crusades internationally and continues to lead tent crusades and revivals, showcasing the power of the Holy Spirit. Her dedication to a fervent prayer life has allowed her to receive the anointing to heal the sick and the authority to proclaim God's word. Her anointing has made her one of the most sought-after preachers. 

She has had the privilege of sharing the Word of God at conferences and churches throughout the United States, as well as in countries like Trinidad, Barbados, Paris, London, and South Korea. In 2012, she was consecrated as an Overseer under the guidance of Bishop James H. Everett, the prelate of Deliverance Jesus Is Coming Fellowship of Churches.
